Board Members

The Board is our main governing body but day to day functions are handled by our CEO Mr. Yogen Khosla. He is assisted by the Executive Committee in monitoring the operations of the company.

Mr Khosla is a finance veteran with over 20 years experience. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and has studied at the Ealing College in London. He is also a member of the Financial Accountants in UK. He was a member on the Board of Directors of Kinetic Capital Finance and spearheaded their retail finance operations in North India. He was also Board member of DBS Capital Trust Securities India P Limited (A joint venture between Capital Trust and Development Bank of Singapore) from 1996 to 2002. Since 2003, he has been working as the Managing Director of Capital Trust Limited. He forayed the company into microfinance business and has plans to make Capital Trust as a niche player offering a double bottom line of providing a financial as well as a social return to its shareholders

C.R. Sharma spearheaded Citibank's retail operations in India in the 1980's before moving to the public sector bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce. Later, he was handpicked to the post of Executive Director at Andhra Bank and then he was named the CEO and Managing Director at Bank of Punjab. After running Bank of Punjab for 5 years he successfully merged the bank into a larger one. Mr. Sharma's financial knowledge and retail banking experience will immensely help us to manage our debt funding requirements

Mr Mahanti is a banking veteran with 30 years experience. He headed Puri Grameen Bank in Orrisa. The bank was primarily engaged in rural banking, agricultural and animal husbandry loans and microfinance. He has been a member of our board of directors since 2004 and has brought with him rich experience in banking and SHG(Self Help Group) banking. He is also currently engaged with few Non-government organizations (NGO) for the upliftment of weaker sections.

Mr Khullar has vast experience in the area of human resources and administration which he gained during his tenure with the Indian Navy. He joined us in 1995 and later joined the board of directors in 2005. His contribution lies in selection of geographical expansion area, formulating human resources policies for the company including selection, recruitment and management of staff members. He is a graduate from Punjab University and is an Interpreter of BAHASHA INDONESIA from School of Foreign Languages of Ministry of Defence.

Sukumar graduated from Kerala University in 1980 with a degree in commerce. He is the longest serving employee of Capital Trust, having been with the company since its inception in 1985. He heads the Finance Department.

C.A. has over 30 years of experience in corporate administration. He manages the Administration Department. A graduate of Kerala University, he has been associated with Capital Trust for 14 years.

Anju graduated from Delhi University and mastered in Business Economics. She joined Capital Trust in 1989 and was initially involved with the Consultancy division. Subsequently, she handled an authorized dealership for Honda two wheelers for 3 years, which was acknowledged as the second best dealership in North India for systems and client satisfaction. She presently heads the Training Department of the micro-lending operations.

Karan is a graduate and manages the staff recruitment for the company. Previously, he was managing operations for the vehicle financing business. He has diverse experience in staff and customer handling. He has been associated with Capital Trust for 18 years.

Sanjeev heads the micro-finance operations of Capital Trust. He joined the company in 2009 and has brought with him extensive ground level working experience. He started his career with Cashpor, a leading MFI of North India. He joined Cashpor as a field officer and steadily rose during his 12 years with the company. His valuable experience in the growing phase at Cashpor will be a great asset in Capital Trust's growth. He holds a Masters Degree in Rural Development and Management from IERT Allahabad. Mr. Yadav also had undergone training at Grameen Bank, ASA and Bolder Training at Italy.

Anuj heads the MIS Department. He is responsible for having developed the in-house software which has formed the backbone of the company's operations. He has been with Capital Trust for over 10 years. Under his guidance, the company developed systems which were able to control the operations effectively and efficiently, resulting in few defaults and high loan recoveries. Anuj graduated from Bangalore University with a Degree in Engineering. He is an IBM certified E-Business Application Development Professional.
